I experimented with the settings under Reading & Display and it may have made a difference. I'm not certain but I may have seen other cases as well. I wonder what on Earth TB is doing or trying to figure out while it's sitting there stuck in apparent un-read status? SOMETHING is hanging it up! I hope the Supernova developers figure this out soon.Įarlier I mentioned that I do see a slow switch to "read" status if images in an email are slow to load. And I repeat this did *NOT* occur in pre-Supernova versions of TB. It's already FULLY DOWNLOADED at this point! I can switch to another message, then come back to the 'stuck' one and it's still 'stuck' while I view the complete message as I wait for it to switch to "read". I can view the entire messages instantly while it's still stuck in Unread status. While most messages make the switch to "read" in 1 seconds or less, a few take up to 40 seconds to switch! Message size or number of photos/graphics is NOT relevant. NOW, I'm finding that the smaller Inbox message volume has had no discernable effect. I removed most of my messages to an archive folder. Well at least Internet speed (problems) can be ruled out as: Ping=2, Down=780, Up=940 (FIOS).Īgain, I must stress - before I "upgraded" to "Supernova", this problem didn't exist! The switch from Unread to Read was INSTANT as I zipped through hundreds of new messages daily.
